Current Members:Ricardo Pezzuol Jacobi is an associate professor in the Computer Science Department, Universidade de Brasilia, Brazil. Jacobi has an MsC in electrical engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, in 1986, Brazil, and a PhD in Applied Sciences from Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium, in 1993. He is currently vice-director at the UnB Gama Faculty, a new technology campus created in 2008 at Gama, Brazil. He published over 60 papers in refereed journals, conference proceedings and book chapters and has coordinated several projects in Microelectronics and Embedded Systems, including international cooperations. His research interests include Embedded System Design, Bioinformatics, Digital TV, Reconfigurable Architectures and Ubiquitous Computing.
Carla Denise Castanho is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at Universidade de Brasília, Brazil, since 2005. She received her M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1998 and 2001, respectively. Her current research interests include Game Development, Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing.
Fabricio is the CIO of Intacto Software Engineering, responsible for coordinating efforts in software and people development. With a Master Degree at the University of Brasilia currently devoted to research in improvements in software engineering with its main focus on ubicomp and smart space systems. Currently is responsible for the uOS project and founder member of the UnBiquitous (Group of Study in Ubicomp of the UnB).
Luciano is a game developer and co-founder of The Balance Inc, an indie game studio from Brasilia. Currently a Master student at University of Brasilia, his research focuses mainly on serious ubiquitous games, with contributions to the uOS project and on the development of new tools to facilitate the development of pervasive games.
Former Members: Graduated in Eletrical Engineering at the Universidade Federal do Ceará at 1999, and M.E and Ph.D. at the Universidade de Brasília in 2002 and 2006. In the present moment is an associate professor at the Universidade de Brasilia conducting research in Digital Signal Processing, Data Compression, Digital Transmission, Embedded Systems and both Hardware and Software Design.
Alexandre is one of the founders of Sea Tecnologia as main coach on several projects ranging from mobile software to intelligent hardware. With a Master Degree at the University of Brasilia as a result of the proposition of the UbiquitOS middleware.
Estevão is a Software Developer with expertise in web and mobile solutions. Graduated in the Universidade de Brasilia in Computer Science. His research contributed with a the plugin architecture for the communication layer of the uOS middleware.
Humphrey is an EAD analist and teacher at Centro Educacional Ceilância. Graduated in the Universidade de Brasilia in 2007 focused his research on the use of ubiquitous services for classrooms and enhanced learning.
Undergrad in Computer Science at Universidade de Brasília developed his career as a Software Architect. Most of his efforts aiming on web development with focus on the JEE platorm. He was responsible for the Stream Transport Support for the Network Layer of the uOS.

Danilo is an undergrad at Universidade de Brasília working with user tracking and identification. He also is a software developer at Sea Tecnologia with focus on web applications and Agile Development. As a product of his research followed the TRUE project for the uOS. Tales is a web developer at Mirante Tecnologia focused on corporate systems for the Federal Goverment. As an undergrad at Universidade de Brasília his works regarding user tracking and identification resulted in the TRUE project for the uOS.
Ana graduated in Computer Science at Universidade de Brasilia working with gesture recognition. She joined Unbiquitous group as a master student at the same university. Her study focused on bringing context awareness to the uOS through the use of ontologies. Bruno is an undergrad student at Universidade de Brasilia and works as a Systems Analyst at Oak Soluções, focused on software-based enterprise solutions and used to work as a Software Developer at Autotrac, focused on embedded software development. - Marcelo Valença de Almeida
Marcelo is an undergrad student at Universidade de Brasilia and used to work as a Software Developer at Autotrac and Sea Tecnologia focused on mobile development and web development, respectively. Undergraduate student of Computer Science at Universidade de Brasilia and currently working at CAIXA Information Technology with development in two areas: Data Quality and Corporate Risk, both involving DW (Data Warehouse), ETL (Extract, Transformation and Load) and BI (Business Intelligence). Additionally, I have worked for a long time with web development at Mirante Web Services. Lucas graduated in Computer Science at Universidade de Brasília. As a member of the UnBiquitous research group, he is focused in the development of the Hydra application, which is a decoupled computing concept application using the uOS middleware.
